DIYgravel x King Challenge

Labor Day means kids are back at (virtual) school and we’re not allowed to wear pastels until spring 2021. Sheesh, rules these days.

Meanwhile, entries continue to pour in with DIYgravel and you’re all heros for being part of it. Keep those entires coming for your continued chances to win!

If you really want to be a hero, here’s an enormous highlight of my year, the King Challenge. This October 17 will be the 10th annual King Challenge, a ride that benefits adults with brain injury. My dad had a stroke on March 23, 2003. Every day presents enormous challenges for both of my parents. Brain injuries are traumatic, awful, life-changing things, but the King Challenge is nothing but a positive day amid otherwise dour times.

So here’s the challenge:

1. I urge you to sign upWe’ve done away with fundraising minimums this year so all you need to do is sign up. You, of course, can raise money to earn some amazing incentive items and entires into the raffle. The King Challenge is $100,000 shy of hitting the $1 million mark collectively over our ten years of the ride. Under normal circumstances, we would surpass this milestone in 2020, but this year is anything but normal. Rest assured you’re making a difference in any amount that you are able to raise.

2. If riding the King Challenge 2020 is not your thing, then please support by purchasing the DIYgravel wares. The t-shirt, the hat, the belt buckle are all the epitome of style and you’ll be making the world a better place as all proceeds support the King Challenge.

3. And if you have no interest in riding nor swag, then you can donate to my ride here.

Have I mentioned the DIYgravel goods? Because they’re awesome and so are you.

Mix and match because items are now sold individually or separately. With all proceeds going to the King Challenge, you can dress the part and know you’re supporting something truly in the process.

Happy Labor Day my friends.
