Get some

Sometimes you just have to put your head down and drive.Or keep your head up and drive since your head down would just be dumb. Unless you have a sweet driving periscope and you can both look down but actually be looking up. I've been crafting a similar such contraption in my mind for years suited for time trailing. It's more aero to put your head down, but it's also good advice to not put your head down and smash into something because you weren't looking.Aero is a good thing. Know what else is good? Skiing. Fresh powder found after a 17 hour driving day, accomplished yesterday, whereupon the end of this adventurous journey saw me barely reach the summit of the pass from the valley, up over into Tahoe because of the dumping snow. Mandatory snow chains or winter tires? What's that mean? NOTHING because I made it.And the reward was waking up to this.imageWhereupon we ventured to the mountain and hung out with a few hundred of my best friends also wanting to ski fresh pow pow.imageimageWhere are we going? No where fast, because the they're blasting and de-icing. Both critical for the safety of us ambitious early risers. So that made it a good time to snap a picture of my once-modern, but now-dated skis. Turns out, regardless of age, they still rip.imageDon't bonk; eat UnTapped.imageAnd yup, run after run after run of unadulterated snow made it all worth it in this bluebird day.image
