More than Just 365 Days

I’m guessing this isn’t your first time on iamtedking.com, so reading about my 2024 escapades chasing the fountain of youth through gravel cycling is probably not news to you. (And if this is your first time here, I’m thrilled you’ve stumbled on this corner of the internet and thanks for tuning in.)

Additionally, maybe you’ve seen one or two of the vignettes that Cannondale helped produce with the capturing and editing from my good friend Chris Milliman. Maybe you’ve seen all four in fact, spaced out over the course of the past 10 months or so. Another good friend recently told me that she watched all four consecutively and she really enjoyed it. I did the same, and as much as it’s odd to watch one’s self on a computer screen, I think it does a really nice job capturing the year.

So I present the same thing to you here. It’s no coincidence that it’s my most popular video by a landslide according to YouTube analytics, because I really think it does a great job telling the story of what went into last season. It’s not gear ratios, aero gains, and excuses, it’s just the boilerplate arch of the season, as it’s happening.
